Royal Gorilla

Without a doubt, Royal Gorilla is one of the most talked-about cannabis strains in the US, which has quickly become a favourite among enthusiasts in all states of the country. However, her discovery was purely coincidental. Two US growers, Joesy Whales and Lone Watie, discovered the strain after Joesy's Chem Sis plants accidentally pollinated his Sour Dubb and made it hermaphroditic. We don't know exactly why Lone kept a few seeds when Joesy threw them away, but we do know that he germinated them later, perhaps out of curiosity, and what came out of the soil was nothing less than the spectacular Gorilla Glue!

The two passionate growers knew immediately that they had grown something really special and were amazed by the results of the first THC measurements. As if an incredible 24-26% of THC is not high enough, it is said that some phenotypes contain as much as 30%. THC levels of this level have never been measured on a species before!

As for the name Gorilla Glue, the official story goes that they chose this name because of the amazing resin production of the species, which made the two growers stick to everything after working with their new creation. But given the strain's super-relaxing effect, Royal Gorilla is also a perfect name to describe her deeply relaxed body stone, which you put on the couch ("glue"), while her high sometimes goes hand in hand with an uplifting euphoria - making her effect wonderfully balanced.

Royal Gorilla is not a strain you would choose for its yields, which are actually average - the focus is on the quality of the buds rather than the quantity. You can grow Royal Gorilla indoors and outdoors, producing huge buds with amazing lime green leaves. Thanks to her strong resin production, her leaves become covered with an abundance of trichomes that shine beautifully in the sun!
