More about Pandora
Pandora, from the Greek mythology, means ‘gifts’ and ‘all’. She was the first woman to set foot on Earth. Sent by the Gods to punish Prometheus, Pandora was both a gift herself and a beholder of holy gifts. In fact, her name can be interpreted as either the ‘all-gifted’ or as the ‘all-giving’. It was with her in mind that the name for this sweet and spicy indica strain was picked.
When it first came out, Pandora was known as one of the most powerful autoflower plant strains in the world. By adding the Ruderalis genes to this plant, its creators gave it the gifts of quick flowering and short stature, all the while keeping the typically indica characteristics found in strains such as Sensi Star and Spoetnik #1.
Prized in the High Life Cup, Pandora’s compact and dense shape gives to it all the qualities necessary for long and resin packed buds. So much so, already on its release Pandora was popular amongst both indoor and outdoor growers. With a pleasant scent, Pandora is quick to flower (anything between 60 to 75 days, depending on environment), and offers a very healthy yield potential.
For those growing indoors, Pandora has just about the perfect calyx-to-leaf ratio and such long, thick and sticky colas that it would be hard to say ‘no’ to it. Furthermore, this plant is very stout and will rarely grow more than 1m inside.
Outdoors, the plant can reach a maximum of 1.20m and produce yields that will if not exceed expectations (in southern regions) at least have a satisfactory performance (northern regions). Pandora is a good option for those wanting an early harvest in northern parts of Europe.
Pandora has a sweet taste and relaxing effects. With smooth and long lasting effects, Pandora tends to be a popular choice amongst medical patients interested in growing their own plant.
