Perfect light steering with protective function
The contamination of LEDs reduces their output to a greater extent than the chip ageing itself. Luminaires whose LEDs are not protected by a cover will noticeably lose light output after only a few months of use, and cannot be cleaned, or only very expensively. SANlight rely on a sophisticated secondary optic in the Q series which captures more than 95% of all photons emitted by the LED chip and directs them directly to your plants. This reduces the light losses to a minimum due to reflection over the tent walls and protects the LEDs from contamination. The material can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
Passive cooling
SANlight is once again relying on their passive-cooling aluminium heat sink, which in design is larger than the competition allowing the lamps to run at full power with very minimum heat output. Passive cooling maximizes energy efficiency and service life and minimizes error susceptibility, risk and noise levels at the same turn.
Best efficiency
With using the latest 2mm2 LED chip technology from Osram and our white broadband spectrum we achieve an Efficiency of 2.7 mol/s. As our chips are insensitive to environmental stresses, we can achieve a realistic lifespan of up to 100,000 hours before seeing any light loss.
Daisy chaining option
To be able to deliver the best quality even with the connectors, SANlight relies on robust premium connections that withstand even the most adverse conditions. The new Wieland H distributor makes it possible to operate several luminaires on only one household socket.
Ready-to-DIMM
All models of the Q-Series Gen2 can be retrofitted with different dimmer systems. The separately available dimmer is attached to the unoccupied slot of the light fixture and a sunrise simulation can be dimmed or programmed through a magnetic switch.
