More about Kanna UB40 Extract
Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) is a succulent from South Africa. Its relaxing effects were discovered by the Khoikhoi more than 300 years ago. The tribal members use kanna as a euphoric stimulant. It is sniffed, chewed or prepared as a tea. It removes worries and has a mood-enhancing and empathogenic effect.
In a higher dose it creates a euphoric feeling and a more intensive connection with the environment. After ingestion, it is slightly stimulating and after about an hour more relaxing . Some users experience increased sensitivity to touch and an increase in libido.
Ingredients:
The active ingredients of Sceletium tortuosum are mesembrine, mesembrenone, mesembrenol and tortuosamine. Mesembrine, the most important alkaloid, is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).
Vaporizing Kanna:
Regular kanna powder and most kanna extracts are not suitable for use in vaporizers because the powder is too fine. The small particles go through the gauze and you're chewing more than you're inhaling.
Kanna UB40 extract is just coarse enough to be used in any herbal vaporizer. It's the simplest way to enjoy the wonderful effect of Sceletium tortuosum in your favourite vaporizer.
Kanna UB40 extract - use:
For a light experience, use 25 mg. If you are already well acquainted with kanna or are less sensitive to the effects, use 40 - 60 mg.
We recommend using this extract in a vaporizer at 188°C. This is the ideal temperature to extract the pure essence of the plant as vapour.
The taste is quite bitter and earthy, so we recommend mixing this extract with your favourite herb.
