Cola Nut

This is the seed of the Cola Acuminata tree, which was once one of the two active ingredients of Coca-Cola (the other ingredient was the infamous coca); and according to American author W. Poundstone, cola nut still is one of the ingredients (the recipe of Coca-Cola is secret). It is certain that it can still be found in Pepsi-Cola.

Cola nut is an upper, a stimulant and a mild aphrodisiac and it stimulates the digestive tract and the combustion of body fats.

Usage

The nut can be chewed, or powdered to add to a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

One nut, or 1 teaspoon of powdered nut.
