If you like Amnesia, Damnesia is here to bring you an extra twist to it. After combining Amnesia with A.M.S., a very popular strain on its own right, Damnesia was formed. A perfect balance between the two, Damnesia is one of those plants that will take you aback when you least expect.
Reaching medium to tall proportions, Damnesia is known for its long branches and elongated colas. Its resinous buds can sometimes take a foxtail shape but this is perfectly natural for this plant. With time, the buds will grow to be heavy and it might be necessary to arrange some sort of support for its branches. The resin produced by the buds is of an amazing quality, which will sure have you pleased.
In terms of looks, the sativa heritage is evident on its leaves. While the foliage is light green with some red tones, the buds are of a forest green colour and the trichomes covering it take more of an amber tone. The pistils are also somewhat amber at the bottom of the bud, although they tend to become more lime-green coloured as they approach the top of the structure.
The plant grows well both inside and outside. Indoors it can yield up to 900g/m² after 9 weeks of flowering. Outdoors the yield can reach up to 1kg. In terms of feeding, Damnesia likes it moderate. The maximum EC lies between 1.9 and 2.0 depending on the grow parameters.
Once harvested, the buds have a black pepper aroma, mixed with an incense and sandalwood scent. As they are smoked, however, the taste buds will experience the flavours of its heritage: a complex arrangement of savors that go from fruity to woody and can be both flowery and mossy with a sativa aftertaste.
Do not be fooled by this strain. Though slow to hit, when it hits, it hits strong and lasts long. The effects of the plant will creep on you and when you least expect you will be struck by its euphoric and energetic powers, together with the tingly bodily sensations. Damnesia is quite the cerebral kind of strain and well suited for social events and creative activities. It is always a good idea to have a bottle filled with water by your side, however, as this strain is known for its dry mouth effect.
Damnesia is sometimes used by medical patients in need of a good pain control or an appetite-stimulating kick.
